Society 2.0
Human society 1.0 was the age of natural selection. Humans struggled for food, fought the cold, animals, disease, and the basic conditions for survival.
Then came Society 1.5: civilization. We replaced physical violence with civilized competition. People no longer fight each other in blood, but they still compete constantly for scarce resources. The market economy is essentially a sophisticated form of selection—and it is a great mechanism.
But Society 1.5 still inherited one major flaw from 1.0: you have no choice but to stay in the “selection.” In a market economy, it is essentially market selection.
Society 2.0 means that even if someone fails in the competition, they still have minimal access to the essentials of life: groceries, accommodation, transportation, education, healthcare, and occupation.
We still want to get to Society 2.0 while keeping the great market mechanism. That is what humaoind robot is for: making abundance in goods and services.
