Simultaneous Charging & Thermal Docking

When the M1 docks, two interfaces connect at the same time: a high-power electrical interface supplies energy to the robot’s battery, while a thermal interface on the robot’s back transfers waste heat into the dock. Charging and heat dissipation therefore happen simultaneously, allowing the robot to recharge while actively cooling down.

Habitat Thermal System

Heat collected from M1 robots, servers, vehicles, batteries, and other Habitat systems flows into a shared thermal bus. The thermal bus transports this waste heat to the large radiator panels mounted on the Habitat roof, where the heat is rejected as infrared radiation directly to the Martian sky.
